In 2021 she was chosen by BJ Sam to address India in the principal general Christmas musicproject with other worldwide music symbols including Hollywood Actor Paul Raci, Swiss entertainer Christina Zurbrügg, Ghanaian Legendary vocalist Diana Hopeson, She shot to acclaim after the two part harmony “Pyar to hona hey tha” with Remo Fernandes from the 1998 film Pyar To Hona Hi Tha for which she won the 1999 Filmfare Best Female Playback Award. The other remarkable movies she has sung in incorporate Mission Kashmir, Mohabbatein, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Bunty Aur Babli. She is likewise a vocalist of Sufi music, as well as Gurbani and other Sikhreligious music. She sung a most recent Hindi Music video “Maula Ali” with Mudasir Ali.

Career

Jaspinder’s profession in singing started early. Her dad Kesar Singh Narula was a music writer of the 1950s. She took her music preparing under the commendable tutelage of her dad Shri Kesar Singh Narula and later from Ustad Ghulam Sadiq Khan of Rampur Sahaswan Gharana. At first, Jaspindar Narula avoided film singing and represented considerable authority in singing bhajans and Sufiana pieces. She moved to Mumbai a couple of years after the fact at the counsel of noted music chief Kalyanji who heard her at the confidential get-together in Delhi and asked his child and music chief, Viju Shah, to offer her reprieve in films like Master, Aar Ya Paar and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan (1998).

Personal life

She lives in Mumbai, and is hitched to a Canada-based Indian money manager. Narula did her tutoring from Guru Harkishan Public School, India Gate, New Delhi and finished her B.A Hons in Music from Indraprastha College for Women, where she was conceded as a unique case since she didn’t have Music as a subject in class twelfth which was pre-imperative for confirmation in the course. She completed PhD in Hindustani traditional music from Delhi University in 2008. She joined Aam Aadmi Party in February 2014.
