She began her profession in 2000 in TV and stage occasions, prior to working in films. She won the Kerala state grant for best choreographer for 2014, movie Vikramadithyan coordinated by Lal Jose. Veteran film entertainer Prem Nazir is a family member.

Early life

Sajna Najam was naturally introduced to a Muslim family in Chirayinkeezh, Trivandrum to M A Nazar and Aysha. Her granddad M A Rasheed built his most memorable performance center in 1957 named Kadheeja, which is as yet thought to be one of the greatest venues in Kerala, prior to moving into film creation. In 2020 she worked with Vijay Sethupathi for a Tamil film, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir.
